Opportunities with Backyard Farmers are rapidly expanding. We now have several Installation Partners in the greater Philadelphia and New Jersey regions and will be continuing to expand our coverage area into other states and possibly also increase the number of partners in these existing territories in order to better serve our expanding customer base. If you have a resume and cover letter, please include the top ten reasons why you feel you would be a good fit with our organization, and e-mail this information to: firstname.lastname@example.org We may also in the future have other opportunities internally within the company in the areas of operations, marketing, technology, and sales. Please feel free to send us your information and we can keep you on file should an opportunity develop for which you might be a good fit.
Here is some background information on the Installation Partner opportunity:
Installation Partner - Backyard Farmers, LLC - Get in on the ground floor of a start up company that will provide installations of backyard food gardens for homeowners, businesses, schools, and other commercial properties. Lead a crew that will install raised bed heirloom vegetable gardens, fruit trees, designer chicken coops, edible landscaping and much more.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about organic food production and permaculture techniques, enjoy dealing with people and closing sales leads, and are not afraid of hard work outdoors. For the right person, this opportunity could also potentially lead to a long term career with the company over time.
An educational background in horticulture is preferred, but not required. Having good business smarts, a flare for interacting with people, a very strong work ethic and a serious long-term commitment to the organization and a deep-rooted passion for the concept are more important.
We understand you might currently be holding full or part time employment - this is good. We will still work with you to see if this opportunity is a fit for you, as the business can be seasonal and/or part time in nature. This position is not for everyone, and we want to make sure that you are in a situation where you can manage the commitment that this opportunity will require which is why we invest time in getting to know you and in proper training before bringing you on board as an official Backyard Farmer Installation Partner.
Our Installation Partner Review Process:
You will email email@example.com with an introductory cover letter, copy of your resume, and your top 10 reasons why you feel you would make a good Backyard Farmer.
If we would like to speak with you further, you will then be contacted by someone from our team via email within 48 hours to set up a 30 minute phone interview. After the phone interview we will then schedule a time for us to meet with you in person. Following the face to face interview if you still feel that you would like to join the Backyard Farmers team we will then provide you with the proper documentation and application to fill out. After we receive your application we will begin your Backyard Farmers training sessions on the Backyard Farmers system.
At this point we will guide you step by step (with your input) until you feel confident enough to be on your own. At this point you will be in charge of your own business unit, but will always have access to the home office to guide and support you when necessary
